Quick tips for proofreading your own content
Re-read then review. Read out loudly slowly. Read backwards word by word to review sentence structure. Dump into notepad or another plain text editor in a different font and then review. Finally, when you have reviewed it thoroughly, ask someone else to review it. Spellcheck Use grammar check but use your eyeballs, too! Look for ands/ors/thats strung together as well
